Carrot and potato puree for baby

Carrot & Potato Puree for Baby (6+ Months)

Carrot and potato was one of the simple vegetable combinations I prepared for my baby during the early stages of starting solids. I served it blended at the time, with a few drops of extra virgin olive oil added after cooking.

This carrot and potato puree for baby shows how I prepared the meal for my baby, but the texture does not need to stay completely smooth. Depending on your baby’s feeding skills, the vegetables can be blended, mashed or gradually offered with more texture as your baby develops.

A quick note: The 6+ months label reflects when I introduced this recipe to my baby rather than a strict age rule. Babies are ready for complementary foods at different rates, so look for signs of developmental readiness and adapt the texture and serving method to your baby’s abilities.
